Research Experience
ASSISTANTSHIPS- Evaluated spatial consistency of sociodemographic-based energy consumption models (Random Forest, MATLAB) across ZIP Code and Census Tract geographies in the Atlanta Metro Region using population-weighted areal interpolation — revealing systematic underestimation in 60%+ of matched tracts
- Collaborated with a research team to build a multi-source Census Tract dataset integrating building footprint metrics, land use classification, and energy estimates using ArcGIS Pro spatial joins and geoprocessing
- Co-developed a reproducible analytical workflow combining Python, Excel, and ArcGIS Pro to support cross-scale validation of urban energy models — contributing to an in-progress manuscript on urban morphology and energy modeling
- Contributed to the Transit Priority Atlas, a comparative GIS database of bus and transit priority infrastructure across 10 North American cities, applying a standardized typological classification framework (15+ lane typologies) based on NACTO guidelines
- Encoded transit priority measures as attributed vector geometries in QGIS using a structured GeoJSON schema, capturing operational, physical, and conflict attributes for each segment
- Data supports cross-city comparative analysis of transit priority policy effectiveness and spatial equity of bus infrastructure
- Contributed to an ITB faculty research grant study on place branding and thematic urban development in Bandung — co-authored the resulting publication (Sutriadi, Rashad & Ramadhan, 2020)
- Assisted an interdisciplinary collaboration between the School of Informatics and Urban Planning on CCTV-based urban problem detection; contributed to draft writing and spatial analysis

Supported graduate students in advanced spatial methods — network analysis, spatial statistics, and spatial regression in ArcGIS Pro. Mentored midterm replication projects reproducing published GIS research, and guided final projects from proposal to StoryMap presentation.
Geographic Information Systems (CUSP-GX 5053)
Supported 25+ graduate students through weekly office hours, assignment feedback, and Piazza Q&A on spatial analysis, ArcGIS Pro workflows, and map design. Guided final projects from ideation to publication on ArcGIS StoryMaps.
Introduction to Spatial Data
Assisted three iterations of an introductory GIS course covering spatial analysis, thematic mapping, and geoprocessing with ArcMap for urban planning applications.
Site Planning Studio
Assisted with grading and office hours for a studio on site planning for residential typologies — affordable housing, landed houses, and rusun (low-rise apartment) developments.
Urban Planning Studio
Guided students through problem definition, research design, field surveys, and mixed-methods analysis — supporting reports that informed zoning and land use policy recommendations.

University Service
LEADERSHIP- Primary liaison between students, faculty, and administration; organized academic and community events and coordinated cross-departmental initiatives for the CUSP student community
